Gustav Hegi (1876-1932) was a Swiss botanist. He is best known for contributing to and editing this multi-volume work , considered one of the most comprehensive florasin the World. The work comprises some 7,800 pages in 13 volumes, with fine illustrations.

7 vols, bound in 13, 4to, orig. cloth (one rebound in buckram). Clean ex-lib. Set: small ink stamps to title page and last page in each volume. Vol IV(1) rebacked with defective spine; vol. V(3) hinges cracked; vol. VI(I) initial pages browned- slightly affecting plates 234+235.
