Early reissue (first published 1853). Francis Orpen Morris (1810-1893) was a clergyman and naturalist. The present book was the standard butterfly book of the second half of the 19th-centruy, and today is considered a lepidopterological classic. Text and plates printed by Benjamin Fawcett.
