Tipped in standard letter, dated 1888, signed by W.H. Flower, director of the BM(NH), thanking Mr. James Bennie for donating "A series of sponge spicules mounted on nine glass slides....many of the spicules have been figured by Dr. J.G. Hinde, in his monograph on the British Fossil Sponges"
