First edition. An expanded version of the author's earlier bibliography (1999), extending the coverage up to 1999, and doubling the number of entries. It includes books by hunters, pioneers, explorers and settlers. The individual entries give a complete physical description of the book, notes illustrations, etc. In addition there is description of the countries hunted, locale where game was bagged and often the professional hunter's name is included. It includes stories of exploration and hunting, pioneer settlers and their hunting, etc. If they ventured into the African interior and wrote a book with hunting, it is mentioned here. This work is not likely to be surpassed and is an essential reference for book collectors, bibliophiles, booksellers and historians. Only 500 copies printed.
