4 vols, 4to, Vols I+II: half leather, rubbed/scuffed, leather title pieces, chipped; Vol. IV: green buckram, spine, scorched with some damage; Vol. V: unbound gatherings, loose in printed wrapper (torn). Some foxing to edges in all vols. Interesting proof copies with author's m/s corrections and some typed alterations pasted in (probably by G.H.E. Hopkins).
