A few plate titles trimmed in Vol. 1; a few plates browned; Vol. 4 with silverfish damage (causing perforation) to margins of index leaves in Text and titlepage in Plates (no loss of text); Vol. 3: half-title torn in margin; some marginal pencil annotations to Vols 3 + 4; a few original part wrappers bound in.
