Condition

Small-4to, orig. publisher's brown cloth, gt + black rules to spine, black rules/borders to front board, blind-stamped to rear; shaken, rear hinge broken, binding cracked in several places with some gatherings coming loose; light foxing to endpapers; plates largely clean. Ownership signature of A.M. Morley, dated 1891, author of 'List of Butterflies and Moths occurring in the neighbourhood of Folkestone' (1931). Also with signature of the entomologist Michael Dickens, once owner of the Butterfly Farm in Bilsington, near Ashford Kent.
