George Bolam (1859 -1934), was a noted naturalist and fisherman. His obituary printed in The Naturalist,, 1935 states that this work 'vividly describes his observations and experiences with birds and beasts during three seasons spent in the remoter fastnesses of central Wales'.
Condition
8vo, orig. green dec cloth, minor rubbing to extremities. Binding cracked between frontispiece and title, still firm; some foxing. Good.
