This second part of the Synopsis is devoted to the cylindrical, elongate genera of the Placodermae: Penium, Closterium, Spinoclosterium, Docidium, Pleurotaenium, Triploceras, and Tetmemorus. Descriptions of new species and varieties as well as previously identified ones are presented, along with synonymies. Each form is illustrated.
