8vo, orig. cloth, rubbed to extremities. Ink stamp of St. Bartholomew's Medical College to endpaper. From the library of Prof. A.J.E. Cave (but without ownership markings), with his pencil markings to text. Prof. Alexander Cave (1900-2001) was a British anatomist, Professor of Anatomy, St. Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College, 1946-1967 and President of the Linnean Society 1970-1973. Ownership signature (smudged) of Dr Addinson to top of title page, and 'Dissecting Room' in ink to fore-edge. Vg.
