Description:
Text French. XIX Congrès Géologique International. Monographies Régionales 3ème Série : Maroc N° 3. A synthesis of the geomorphology of Morocco, prepared for the XIX International Geological Congress of 1952. Dresch and his collaborators brought together extensive field research on the Atlas ranges, Moroccan Meseta, Prerif, Moulouya, Haouz, Sous and Tafilalt, examining the relationship between geological structure, erosion surfaces, river terraces and climatic processes in shaping the Moroccan landscape. One of the principal mid-century studies of Moroccan physical geography and an important product of the French school of North African geomorphology.
