Text French. This book describes the 713 bird species recorded in Gabon. Each species is accompanied by at least one photograph and a map showing the locations of known sightings.
Between 2020 and 2023, the authors conducted three field missions to update the data contained in the literature on Gabonese ornithology.
Species considered endangered are listed in the introduction, which covers both the history of ornithology in Gabon and the challenges facing the country now and in the future.
Intended as a reference work, this atlas of the birds of Gabon is for researchers, birdwatchers, and all involved in the fight to preserve biodiversity.
