Text Danish. The result of the Danish Botanical Society's 23-year project, begun in 1992, to map the all the Danish plant species (by 1,300 5x5 km squares). Based on nearly 1 million data records for approximately 3,000 plant species, the atlas provides a brief account for each species and subspecies, including information on when and how they first arrived in Denmark, habitat preferences, distribution, etc.
