Scarce. Annual reports from Bardsey Island bird obseratory, listing the birds recorded each year, together with contributions on other wildlife found on the island (located 1.9 miles off the Llŷn Peninsula, North Wales). The observatory was founded in 1953, and these reports cover the first eight years.
Condition
8 parts, 8vo, bound in a single volume, orig. cloth, light spotting to covers, with card wrappers retained. Bound with two short papers by C.A. Norris, 'The Birds of Bardsey Island in 1952' (1953) and 'Further Notes on the Birds of Bardsey Island' (1954), and a 15-page pamphlet 'Bardsey Island and its Bird Observatory' (1961), by Susan Cowdy. Vg.
