Text English and Italian. The catalog of Coleoptera Curculionoidea species known to date in the area of ​​the Monte Grappa Biosphere Reserve is presented. The 528 species reported, divided into 7 families and 283 genera or subgenera, include the 265 species known so far, plus the 263 that are being reported for the first time from the area. Faunistic, chorological, ecological and/or taxonomic notes are provided for all species. The work is completed by 1,015 photos of the species, the environments, the research techniques, the faces of the research group and some images of the biodiversity encountered and considered most significant.

Monte Grappa hosts an incredible variety of living beings, in particular insects; a group of Italian and foreign scholars are looking for and cataloging them, whose attention is fixed above all on the Curculionidae, a large family of beetles. The first results are reported in this volume Weevils of Monte Grappa Biosphere Reserve an indispensable volume for scholars and all naturalists who, walking in the area of ​​the Monte Grappa Biosphere Reserve, want to know its biodiversity in more detail.

[Dopo I volumi dedicati al Sud America, all’Asia e all’Arcipelago Toscano la World Biodiversity Association dedica il quinto volume della serie Memoirs on Biodiversity alla biodiversità del Monte Grappa Riserva della Biosfera MaB UNESCO.

Viene presentato il Catalogo delle specie di Coleoptera Curculionoidea ad oggi note nell’area della Riserva della Biosfera Monte Grappa. Le 528 specie riportate, suddivise in 7 famiglie e 283 generi o sottogeneri, includono le 265 specie finora note, più le 263 che vengono segnalate per la prima volta per l’area. Annotazioni faunistiche, corologiche, ecologiche e/o tassonomiche sono fornite per tutte le specie. Completano il lavoro 1.015 foto, delle specie, degli ambienti, delle tecniche di ricerca, dei volti del gruppo di ricerca e di alcune immagini della biodiversità incontrata e ritenuta più significativa.

Il Monte Grappa accoglie una incredibile varietà di esseri viventi, in particolare di insetti; li sta cercando e catalogando un gruppo di studiosi italiani e stranieri, la cui attenzione è fissata soprattutto sui Curculionidi, grande famiglia dei coleotteri.
