Popular edition, October 1925, first published 1921. Canon Theodore Wood, (1862-1923) was vicar of St. Mary Magdalene, Wandsworth Common, London. Like his more famous father Rev. J. G. Wood (1827-1889), Theodore did much to popularise natural history through his many publications.
