Auction sale catalogue 2nd June, 1971. This important collection, in 179 lots was built by the British politician Andrew Fountaine (1918-7). The sale was noted for the sale of watercolours of fungi by J.B.L. Letellier, drawings for J. Bolton's History of Funguses, and a collection of drawings 'Herefordshire Fungusses' by H.G. Bull. The auction house stated that 'such an opportunity for mycological bibliophiles is unlikely to recur'.
