Text Polish. Includes 157 species of Crambidae and one species of Thyrididae. Detailed species descriptions make up the main secton of this book. Descriptions cover morphology of the imago of the known developmental stages, life cycles, preferred habitats and distribution. Each species is accompanied by a distribution map for Poland and a short English summary. Genitalia drawings are provided for species that are difficult to identify. Illustrated by 43 colour plates, 17 plates show set specimens for identification. Where possible both sexes and variation within species are illustrated. The remaining plates show developmental stages - eggs, caterpillars, pupae, as well as typical habitats and moths photographed in the field.
