Text Italian. Rare. This book discusses plantation and cultivation of mulberries in relation to the silk industry, a great generator of wealth during the 18th-century. Domenico Maria Manni (1690-1788) was Director of the Biblioteca Strozzi in Florence, he edited early texts and published a wide range of works of antiquarian and literary scholarship.

The text in this work commences with a drop capital letter 'D', illustrating a man dealing with a bucking horse.
