Description:

Edwin Stephen Goodrich FRS (1868-1946), was an English zoologist, with a wide range of interests including comparative anatomy, embryology, palaeontology, and evolution. He held the Linacre Chair of Zoology in the University of Oxford from 1921 to 1946. He served as editor of the Quarterly Journal of Microscopical Science. This work includes contributions from Goodrich's colleagues or pupils such as Edward Poulton, Julian Huxley, E.B. Ford, J.B.S. Haldane, O.W. Richards, and Walter Garstang.

Condition

8vo, orig. cloth, slightly rubbed. Withdrawn from an institutional library, a few ink stamps. Signature of British palaeontologist Colin Patterson FRS (1933–1998). Good.
