150 freshwater samples from 67 different localities in Ghana collected in 1961 have been analysed for contents of diatoms. The occurrence of 685 different forms of diatoms was demonstrated, belonging to 551 species and 43 genera. Includes 25 plates with 385 drawings of 336 different forms of diatoms.
