Full polished calf (some fading and a few stains); marbled endpapers + edges; gilt rule to border; gilt inner dentelles; gilt tooling to spine faded; spine labels chipped (one largely missing). endpapers browned; some marginal browning to prelims; one section slightly sprung, but firm. Plates and text clean
