50 species are covered in each part. The nomenclatural revision was carried out by the French specialist Guy Redeuilh. The Foreword is by the French cortinariologist André Bidaud. The introductory booklet accompanying the first group of 50 species contains: a) a chapter on the general systematic framework; b) a chapter on the mycotoxicology of the genus Cortinarius; c) a chapter with ‘instructions for use’ of the work; d) an annotated bibliography.
