Fifth revision. Comprehensive reference database documenting surviving specimens of the extinct thylacine (Thylacinus cynocephalus) in museum, university and private collections worldwide, including skins, mounted specimens, skulls, skeletons and preserved material, with provenance, collection data and photographic documentation. The ITSD was established in 2005 as the first systematic attempt to catalogue all known surviving physical remains of the species; this substantially revised fifth revision appeared in 2013.
