Text French. Illustrated account of the botanical collections of the Museum of Natural Sciences in Florence. Filippo (Philippe) Parlatore (1816-1877), was an Italian botanist. He established the herbarium and was appointed Professor of Botany at the Museum and Director of the associated botanical garden.

8vo, orig. printed wrappers, worn to spine and with some loss at corners; stitching broken with text block separated into three sections, some plates loose; pages partly unopened; paper browned, very light water stain to inner corner of plates. A good copy.
