Centenary [tenth] edition. Scarce. Includes the names of 2330 birds which have appeared in the London Zoo, with the geographical races of many of the forms. For each species the following information is provided: the most important synonyms, the geographical distribution, references to description and coloured figure (where such exists), English common names.

8vo, orig. cloth, worn, front joint split, printed title piece to spine. With protective acetate sleeve. Shaken, several gatherings just starting (but still firm). A few neat ink annotations. Name to endpaper. Good.
