2 vols, 12mo in 4s (145x96mm), cont. mottled sheep, spines rebacked/repaired preserving orig. backstrips (leather cracked to Vol. I), gilt rules and red leather title piece to spines; edges lighlty sprinkeld in blue. Vol. I: first 52 birds with neat ink number to margin; Vol. II: closed tear to the centre of the title page without loss; browning to a few pages, one leaf with small piece torn from lower blank corner without loss of catchword. Good. Armorial bookplates of John Somerset Pakington (1799-1880), British Conservative politician, and of Graham Manners Sutton.
