8vo, orig. cloth, partly faded. Good ex-lib.: withdrawn from The Library, Palaeontological Collections, University Museum, Oxford. From the collection of C.J. Bayzand, with his name to half-title. Charles John Bayzand (1878-1958) joined the Oxford University Museum in 1898 as a junior assistant, working under the direction of the geology professor, William Johnson Sollas (1849–1936). Later Bayzand was promoted to the position of Demonstrator, in which role he undertook formal teaching duties. He retired from the Museum in 1948.
