This is a memoir of naturalist and artist, George Higgs (1922-2012) of Willen in Buckinghamshire, together with life-size reproductions of many of his beautiful and precise water-colour paintings of moths and butterflies. Published as a memorial to George, with introductory essays by a few friends and colleagues, this edition is limited to 300 copies, only a very small number of which (fewer than 50) are being offered for sale.
