Charles Adolphe Albert Fauvel (1840-1921) was a French lawyer and Coleopterist. He described 1,850 species and 96 genera of Staphylinidae. He founded and edited this journal, publishing some 250 papers.
Condition
14 vols in 7, 8vo, well-bound in later qtr cloth, some wrappers retained, marbled boards and endpapers. Some marginal browning, foxing and spotting, old water stain to corner of a few plates. From the library of Coleopterist (specialist on the Staphylinidae) Guillaume Marie de Rougemont (1945-2020) with his bookplates. Vg.
