The Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club Technical Manuals were published to supplement and amplify the official Rolls-Royce and Bentley manuals, particularly for pre-1940 cars, for which comprehensive workshop manuals were not produced. Technical articles published in the Club Bulletin covered all aspects of maintenance and overhaul, including practical servicing information, modifications, fault-finding, and advice based on the experience of Club members and specialists. The Technical Manuals were subsequently compiled from these contributions. The present set comprises Technical Manual [1] 1972 reprinted with additions and covering the period 1959–1972, to Bulletin No. 69; Technical Manual [2] 1972, covering 1973–1977, Bulletins Nos 70–104; and Technical Manual No. 3, 1984 covering Bulletins Nos 105–141.
