Text English. Includes a supplement to Lucanus and Eolucanus (covered in Vol. I), bringing the total number of species in the two genera to 57 (50 species were included in Vol. I). Descriptions of a new species of Prismognathus, a new species of Kirchnerius and the new genus Himaloaesalus. Section 3 covers Lucaninae sensu Holloway 1960. Section 4 deals with 133 species belonging to the genera Gnaphaloryx, Kirchnerius, Metallactulus, Epidorcus, Serrognathus, Hexarthrius, Rhaetulus, Pseudorhaetus, Prosopocoilus, Miwanus, Falcicornis, Sinodorcus, Aulacostethus, and Dorcus.
