This authoritative volume compiles extensive field observations, taxonomic descriptions, distributional data, and ecological notes, accompanied by detailed maps and illustrations. Produced as part of the Central Asiatic Expeditions series, it remains a significant reference work for zoology, biogeography, and East Asian natural history.

4to (284x220mm), orig. orange cloth, black titles to front board and spine, rubbbed with minor wear only, 2 small ink stamps and ink number to front board. Withdrawn from an institutional library with neat ink stamps to endpaper, title page, verso of plates and occasionally elswehere. Good.
