Condition

Large 8vo (260x190mm), orig. brown cloth, rebacked retaining orig. faded backstrip, rubbed to extremities, gilt title to spine and front board, top edge gilt. Paper slightly browned. Foxing to endpapers and occasionally elsewhere. Good. Ownership signature of one of the original subscribers, British ornithologist, Henry Saunderson Davenport (1853-1931), with a few of his neat annotations to the text.
