An account of the ornithological content of Thomas Muffett's posthumously published Healths Improvement (1655), which although concerned primarily with their suitability as food, mentions over 100 species of British birds, with many comments showing that he was an accomplished ornithologist.
Condition
Orig. stiff wrappers, stapled booklet, small rust marks around staples. Printed on laid paper, edges uncut. Occasional light foxing. Good.
