8vo, cont. qtr cloth, marbled boards, lightly scuffed. Paper a little browned; some foxing, particularly to the plates, which are coming loose; endpaper creased. Withdrawn from the library of the Natural History Museum, London, with neat ink stamps at beginning and end, and to verso of plates. Good. G.A. Boulenger's name to foot of final Index page. Boulenger worked in the Zoology Department of the British Museum from 1882-1920. Inscribed from the author to 'Docteur de Bedriaga'. Jacques von Bedriaga (1854-1906) was a Russian herpetologist, who studied at Moscow and Jena.
