Species descriptions in Latin. Plates in the Supplement (1900) are numbered IX-XV in continuation of those in 'Monograph of the Corylophidae and Sphaeriidae' (1899), as it was at first intended to issue the two works as one volume.
Condition
3 vols, 4to, orig. cloth, gt, 2 vols with top edge gilt. Some rubbing to extremities. Some foxing in first volume. Vg. Armorial bookplate of Charles Edward Tottenham to 'Trichopterygia' and Supplement; manuscript presentation label from the author (P.B. Mason) to the Burton-on-Trent Natural History & Archaeological Society, dated 1912, to 'Corylophidae and Sphaeriidae', with a few neat ink stamps. Previous owner's small ex libris label to all three volumes.
