Description:
With a foreword by HRH The Prince of Wales. The Coronation Meadows project, was an UK conservation initiative launched in 2013 by the former Prince of Wales (now King Charles III) alongside the charity Plantlife to mark the 60th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Created to help restore and protect Britain's rapidly disappearing wildflower meadows, the project played a vital role in preserving some of the country's most precious natural habitats.
This beautifully illustrated volume celebrates twenty Coronation Meadows across England through the exquisite photography of Hugo Rittson Thomas. Featuring stunning images of wild orchids and other native flora, the book showcases some of Britain's most remarkable meadow landscapes, including those at Highgrove, Highclere Castle, Blenheim Palace, Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Green Park, London, and Magdalen College, Oxford.
