Janson and was subsequently reissued at various periods up to the first half of the 20th century (the natural history business of E.W. Janson became Janson & Son in 1886 when the firm moved to 44, Great Russell Street).

2 vols, 8vo, orig. early 20th century blind-stamped cloth, spines faded, spines titled in black; patterned endpapers, light tape marks. Occasional foxing; a few marginal annotations. Good. Owner's name to endpaper dated 1928.
Cloth. Vg set. Slight foxing and a few annotations to prelims. Basil Harley's bookplates in both volumes
