Scarce catalogue of some of the fossils displayed in the Museum of Practical Geology (established 1835, transferred to the Geological Musuem, Exhibition Road, in 1935). A printed prefatory note states, 'This Catalogue has been drawn up by Mr. E.T. Newton, Assistant Naturalist, under my superintendence. The Specimens have been named by Mr. Etheridge, F.R.S., Palaeontologist to the Geological Survey of Great Britain. - T.H. Huxley.'

8vo, orig. printed wrappers, worn, covers almost detached. Withdrawn from an institutional library, a few ink stamps; small paper label to front wrapper.
