Wrapper for 1905 vol. inscribed to W.D. Buckley from the author. Tipped in to 1910 vol. is a signed autograph letter by the author, dated January 20th, 1910, addressed to the reader: 'I regret the high price of this publication which is due to the expense of producing the plates, and the limited number of copies printed. Thinking that the paper may contain some item of interest to fellow botanists in the South of England, I am circulating a few copies through the medium of my friend Mr. A. Bennett …'

1910 vol. has a memorial book-plate for Allen Wedgwood (1893-1915), inscribed in pencil M.L. Wedgewood 1937. Mary Louisa Wedgwood (1854-1953) was an English botanist and collector who created a herbarium at Marlborough College, Oxford as a memorial to her son Allen, who died in the First World War at Gallipoli.
