Text German. Eugène Mayor (1877 1976) and Otto Fuhrmann (1871-1945) participated in a scientific expedition to Colombia in 1910. Specimens collected during this trip were studied by various naturalists, such as Karl Matthias Friedrich Magnus Kraepelin (1848-1915) who specialised in the study of scorpions, centipedes, spiders. Much of the work from the expedition was described in Voyage d'exploration scientifique en Colombie. Volume V. Mémoires de la Société Neuchâteloise des Sciences Naturelles.
