First edition. Photographic illustrations by the author. Emma Louisa Turner (1867-1940) was an English ornithologist and pioneering bird photographer, who spent part of each year in Norfolk. She took up photography at the age of 34 after meeting wildlife photographer, Richard Kearton.
Condition
8vo, orig. green qtr cloth, paper-covered boards, marbled endpapers. Foxing to edges of textblock, otherwise a very good, clean copy.
