Bob George (d. 2013) was a British World War Two fighter pilot and later a school science teacher. He became an authority on British fleas. This was his collection of reprints of approximately 1,400 reprints of papers on fleas, dated roughly between 1924 and 2007.
A remarkable international collection of over 1,400 reprints of Siphonaptera papers (short and medium size), amassed by Bob George to support his research. Some papers supplied in photocopy or typescript copy. Includes papers by flea experts including Miriam Rothschild (1908- 2005), Heinrich Ernst Karl Jordan (1861-1959) and Franciscus Gerardus Albertus Maria Smit (1920-2000).
