This list is supplementary to one published in the Entomologist's Monthly Magazine (1881-1883). Scarce.

Condition

8vo, cont. half leather, marbled boards, spine and corners rubbed/scuffed. Interleaved copy. Some browning to blank leaves at front and rear. From the library of the dipterist, Adrian Pont with his name to endpaper. Also with book-plate of Linley Blathwayt (1839-1919). Blathwayt served in the British Indian army for many years. On retirement in 1880 he settled at Eagle House, Batheaston and took up scientific and natural history interests. He was the president of the British Microscopical Society and a Fellow of the Entomological Society. He supported women's suffrage and Eagle house became a refuge for suffragettes.
