A boxed folio of original prints - lithographs, etchings and linocuts of eight European owls, by eight artists: Kim Atkinson, David Bennett, John Busby, Jean Chevallier, Denis Clavreul, Robert Greenhalf, David Koster, and Janet Melrose. Each print in the portfolio is accompanied by a hand-printed folio leaf about the Owl and the artist. Also, a title page and introduction by John Busby. Paper size of prints 380x288mm. This edition of the hand produced prints is limited to only 90 copies, each signed and numbered by the artist. The first 70 of each print are only available within the portfolio set, such as this one. Original prospectus enclosed.

Condition

Folio (410x320mm), original half morocco, gilt title to spine. Fine in fine slipcase. The portfolio and slipcase are hand crafted by Cedric Chivers Ltd.
