A total of 2,486 species described with drawings of microscopic features and colour photographs.

Condition

6 vols, 4to (288x216mm). Vol. 1, 5 & 6, very good; Vol. 4, minor wear to spine; Vol. 2, 3, spines worn/chipped, Vol. 2 with tape repair to head of spine. All vols with fore-edges lightly thumbed and small ownership label to endpaper. Overall a good clean working set.
