Part of a comprehensive inventory of Peru's orchids (estimated to number above 3000 species); these parts include plates 401-800, plus 11 Supplemental plates. To date a total of 800 illustrations, including more than 150 new distribution records and 100 new species have been published. Each plate features a full-page botanical line drawing, with species account to the verso: scientific name, synonyms, detailed description, distribution, identification observations, comments, habitat information and flowering season.
