Imp. 8vo, orig. half morocco, teg, rubbed, some wear, boards lightly marked/spotted, spine faded, fore-edge foxed. Front hinge cracked but firm. B/w photographic portrait of the author tipped-in at front. From the library of Charles M. Ingles (1870-1954), naturalist and curator of the Darjeeling museum in India from 1923 to 1948, with his name to title page (dated 24/2/14), and his occasional neat marginal annotations to text. Plates clean.
