12mo, cont. cont. half calf, marbled boards, some wear to extremities. Recased with new endpapers. Some mostly marginal browning/spotting to pages. Good. Interleaved copy. From the library of O. Pickard-Cambridge (1828-1917), with numerous neat ms notes in his hand, including on the occurrence of species in Bloxworth, Dorset. Pickard Cambridge was an English zoologist and clergyman, who published on British spiders, including The Spiders of Dorset (1879-1881). He was born in Bloxworth, Dorset, and succeeded his father as rector there in 1868. Also with book plates of British lepidopterists J.M. Chalmers Hunt and Paul Sokoloff.
